Rosacea is a common and very frustrating skin condition that is estimated to affect over 16 million Americans. Omega-3 fatty acids, found in fish oil and krill oil, are also extremely helpful in reducing inflammation. What’s more, these fatty acids also help to maintain crucial nutrients within the body and skin cells. A lack of omega-3s may cause skin to become dry and irritated igniting and increasing rosacea symptoms.
Rosacea is a frustrating condition that can create low self-confidence and low self esteem while causing sufferers to avoid social situations. Although there is no cure, steps can be taken to reduce flare-ups and improve your quality of life.
