We all know how healthy carrots are for our health as well as for our eyes, but did you know they are also amazing for your skin as well? They are loaded with skin renewing vitamins such as vitamins A, B, and C which are touted as anti-aging heroes.
These vitamins help restore your skin’s elasticity, are anti-inflammatory, fight off skin infections, and help to tighten the skin. You can create your own potion with carrot seed oil (visit Mountain Rose Herbs)adding it to other anti-aging ingredients such as argan oil, coconut oil, and rosehip seed oil or you can create your own DIY carrot mask.
Carrot Mask
1 large carrot
1 Tablespoon sweet almond oil
5-6 drops of your favorite essential oil (optional)
1. Peel and puree the carrot straining the juice as best as you can so you just have the luscious pulp.
2. Mix the pulp with the sweet almond oil and essential oil.
3. Apply the pulp to your cleansed face and let the mask sit on your skin for 10-15 minutes letting the carrot infuse your skin with healthy vitamins.
4. Rinse with warm water, pat dry, and apply your favorite serum or moisturizer.
Rabbits know what is good. 🙂

Carrots are indeed useful for body. I have read about its usefulness in improving the eyesight. Never knew about its benefits for skin. Thanks for sharing.
Carrots are often overlooked and really are beneficial for your health, eyesite, and skin.
Pure Coconut Oil is the best! But aide from that, I love Argan oil. 🙂
