leEdge

I recently had the opportunity to try a new exfoliating tool called LeEdge.  It’s a simple to use handheld tool that is designed after an ancient Roman device called the strigil.

The strigil was used to scrape dirt and sweat from the face and body of ancient Romans encouraging clean and healthy skin.  First they applied oil to their skin and then scraped it off with the strigil; removing dirt and debris along with the oil.  Strigils were often used in Roman baths and were crafted in different sizes to fit a variety of body parts.

The modern day strigil, the LeEdge, has been designed to beautifully promote softer and smoother skin.  It has a stainless steel edge that removes dead skin cells and toxins leaving your skin clean, smooth, and vibrant.

The LeEdge tool has nice grips that keep it from slipping out of your hands while gliding it over the skin.  It feels a little strange at first because it feels as though you’re shaving your face.  But after getting past the shaving analogy you quickly realize how it effectively scrapes away all of the unwanted dead skin cells and debris.  After using the LeEdge my skin feels alive and smooth.

It’s incredibly simple to use and doesn’t require any batteries.  Just hold the device at about a 45 degree angle and sweep it in an upward movement.  You can use the LeEdge from head to toe and experience soft, smooth skin all over.

Benefits

LeEdge is an Australian company that is fortunately expanding to the US giving us the chance to experience the benefits of their research.  The LeEdge tool puts thorough exfoliation at your fingertips and makes it incredibly easy to get rid of those pesky dead skin cells.
