LeEdge also sound similar to something that some Native American tribes have done for thousands of years. Most people think of the sweatlodge ceremony as a spiritual cleansing. However, sweatlodge has also been used by some tribes such as mine, Northern Paiute, for physical cleansing and socialization. The steam from the rocks combined with scraping the skin with a willow stick works well to do away with deak skin while cleansing.
