Teen Acne
Is there a teen in your life struggling with acne? Struggling is actually too gentle of a description, because a teen suffering with acne is a teen that is deeply hurting. Acne can affect teens in a very profound way that totally crushes self-esteem and self-confidence. In fact many teen put on a façade hiding how much they are truly hurting. If you know someone who is battling acne, you can give her or him an option that may greatly impact their life.
The teenage years are a tough time in life; trying to figure out who you are, where you fit in, and dealing with other teens who are trying to figure out who they are and where they fit in. But when you top all of those strong emotions with the burden of acne it makes for a teen who is deeply suffering, and often times they suffer in silence.
You know how hard it can be to head out into the world with one single blemish. You feel as though every person you talk to is distracted by it. But try heading out into the often cruel world of teenagers with a face covered in red, inflamed, and angry looking acne. Put simply; it’s a NIGHTMARE.
Here’s the golden egg that can profoundly help your teen; the Caribbean Sun Red/Blue Professional Acne Light. It puts a soothing, healing, and reparative solution conveniently into your teen’s hands. Before turning to something more serious and potentially dangerous such as Accutane, why not give this alternative therapy a try and watch your teen blossom?
The Caribbean Sun Red/Blue Pro combines red LEDs at 660 nanometers and blue LEDs at 415 nanometers into one super easy to operate and completely hands-free system. Most acne lights available on the market only contain blue LEDs, are handheld, and cover small areas of the face. The Caribbean Sun is unique in that it contains both red and blue LEDs and treats the entire face. The wavelengths bathe the skin in powerful healing lights that dramatically improve the skin over time. The blue LEDs are like an army of wavelengths diving into the skin killing the acne causing bacteria while the red LEDs sweep in and accelerate healing and repair damage.
Benefits
- Kills the acne causing bacteria, P. acnes.
- Speeds up the healing of existing acne
- Heals
- Soothes
- Diminishes scarring
- Reduces redness
- Rejuvenates
- Repairs
- Increases cellular energy
- Promotes a clearer complexion
There was an impressive study done on 24 subjects with mild to severe acne. The participants were treated over an 8 week period with two 20 minute treatments a week 3 days apart alternating between the blue and red LEDs.
Results: 22 of the subjects completed the study. At the 4 week follow up there was a reduction in lesions of 46%. At the 12 week follow up, the lesion reduction was at about 81%! Severe acne appeared to show an even higher response than the mild acne but both yielded remarkable results.
Their findings revealed that a combination of red and blue LED therapy is a viable option for treating mild to severe acne and one that is completely pain-free and side-effect free. However, it’s important to note that goggles need to be worn during treatments as blue LEDs have the potential to damage the eye.
The Caribbean Sun offers a combination of red and blue LEDs, is hands-free, convenient, and easy to use making it a feasible and effective alternative for any teen suffering with this self-esteem crushing condition. The impact it can have on your teen’s life is immeasurable!
After trying Proactive, Clinique, Oil of Olay, Acne Free, Neutrogena… I can keep going. Citrus Clear products have been by far the best! I put their Grapefruit Spot Treatment on my problem areas every morning under my moisturizer so that it maintains my clear skin. When I get a pimple that is when I utilize it more and by the next day it is either gone or substantially smaller. I have recommended Citrus Clear to several of my friends and family and they absolutely love it! Please think about it and try it.
I think teenagers should exert more effort on keeping their skin clear and healthy. Washing the face with a hypoallergenic yet oil-clearing soap. Cleanse, tone and moisturize, that’s the three fundamental rules for healthy skin. Don’t forget to get a lot of exercise, rest, and lots of hydration too.
It is important that you shouldn’t touch your face if your hands are not clean or sanitized. That’s the number one cause of breakouts on the skin, unless of course your acne problem is genetic. I am not a big fan of lights to cure acne, because I always think of dermabrasion as the ultimate skin torture. Thanks for the post though.
Oh, I’m not sure if I’d like this idea called acne light. I’m always thinking of lasers piercing through my skin and it just sounds horrible. Thank you for this information though. I’d recommend it to friends who have kids suffering from teen acne. I’d stick to cleanse, tone, and moisturize for now.
Oh, Joy you’ve got it all wrong 🙂 Blue light therapy is gentle, painless, and does an amazing job of treating acne. It’s actually an alternative to more harsh and dangerous treatments. It’s an extremely relaxing and therapeutic option.
