Essential oils are delicate and powerful gifts from Mother Nature that have potent skin transforming properties. You can experience unbelievable improvements in the appearance of your skin with these simple yet magical essential oils. They promote beautiful skin that looks younger and healthier.
Carrot seed oil is an essential oil that has exceptionally powerful anti-aging components. This oil is extremely rejuvenating and regenerating making it a great choice for aging skin. It stimulates circulation, boosts elasticity, reduces wrinkles, repairs damage, and tones the skin. It also removes toxic build-up in the skin and eliminates surplus water from tissue. This oil is non-toxic, but should be avoided during pregnancy.
Frankincense has been shown to encourage skin cell growth and effectively rejuvenates your skin. This ancient beauty helps to heal sores, reduces inflammation, and diminishes scarring.
Grapefruit essential oil can be used as an astringent and helps balance oily skin. It’s loaded with vitamin C, a strong antioxidant, which fights free radicals and stimulates your collagen production. It’s great for treating wrinkles and acne at the same time while helping your skin glow with a healthy even tone.
Neroli has cell stimulating properties and aids with the elasticity in your skin. This amazing essential oil re-hydrates, softens, rejuvenates, helps reduce stretch marks, and diminishes scarring.
Myrrh helps balance the hydration within your skin, removes toxins, and has incredible reparative properties. This extraordinary essential oil drastically helps improve dry and crepey looking skin. Myrrh works quickly to revitalize and rejuvenate your skin.
Rose essential oil has emollient and hydrating properties that fight dryness and encourage moist, dewy, and soft skin. It also boosts your skin’s elasticity keeping it bouncy, youthful, and vibrant. This unique oil can also be used to calm and soothe irritated skin making it an incredibly gentle age fighter.
Sandalwood essential oil balances your skin and relieves dry, itchy, and inflamed skin. This particular oil helps to prevent scarring and also fights eczema.
Patchouli essential oil stimulates new cell growth, calms inflamed skin, and fades scars. It has also been shown to tighten and tone sagging skin. I have to say though, that although this oil has great benefits for your skin the aroma is one that you either love or hate (I happen to be on the side of hate.) If you can get past the scent then it is a very useful oil for your skin.
Essential oils are so magnificent because they are derived straight from the beauty of nature. I think they are truly mystical, magical, and incredibly alluring. You can achieve amazing results by mixing, matching, and experimenting with these natural gifts.
