This is really useful as it can be confusing trying to find the oils that are best for your type of skin. I also read that soybean oil is good for nails
Thanks for stopping by Shirl 🙂 You are so right, it can be very confusing. But these are some really amazing oils that are so great for your skin.
Just imagine nature has so much to offer and we are always running after chemical based products. Didn’t knew argan oil is good for swelling. I have lot of swelling on my hands and feet. But i have a very oily skin. Confused if i should try it or not?
You might just love argan oil Anchal! It’s actually very beneficial for oily skin 🙂
I didn’t know there are several natural skin oils. I’m using Olive oil for 3 months to heal my accident’s wounds now. It was never easy anyway. I still have skin scars. But now it’s getting better. By the way can you recommend me any natural oil from this list ? Thanks for the great information Victoria.
How to reduce fat from face
Hi Nimz, you may want to try argan oil. It is really fantastic for improving the skin (I love the Mara Kesh argan oil). You may also want to try rosehip seed oil. It is really fantastic for reducing scarring and diminishing lines and wrinkles. I frequently will put my rosehip seed oil on first and then layer my argan oil over it. You may also want to check out the DPL Therapy Sytem (you can save $120 right now!) It is truly exceptional for reducing scarring, especially newer scars.
Hope this helps 🙂
Apricot kernel oil is one of the best for skin as it provides smoothness to the skin

Apricot Kernal Oil is one of the best for skin oil for the mature people just entering the age in which skin gets dull
My skin is a kind of dry sometimes especially when it’s cold. It is also oily. Do you think these essential oils will really work over my oily face?
Argan oil is actually very beneficial for oily skin as well as dry skin Keith 🙂
Grapeseed Oil is good for the skin. And I am using everyday to cleanse my skin. To keep my skin moisturize and flawless.
Great tip Holly. Cleansing your skin with grapeseed oil is really beneficial for healthy skin.
I have never heard of using avocado oil though it makes sense as my girlfriend uses raw avocado as a facial mask. I might give several of these a try as I have extremely sensitive skin and constantly get razor burn. I have tried tea tree oil but it seems to sting my face. I’ve also heard grape seed oil contains glycilic acid which may help.
With sensitive skin Jason, you will want to stick with more soothing oils such as avocado, argan, or tamanu oils. Tea tree oil is great for skin that suffers with acne but is probably a bit too intense for more sensitive skin like yours. You might really like argan oil (especially the Mara Kesh Select line) 🙂
I have used rosehip oil myself and I find it as the best of all the ones that you described.
I love it too Emo 🙂 It’s one of my favorite botanical oils along with argan oil 🙂
I really wonder if olive oil can be used to a kind of medicine.

Who knew there were so many different types of oil. I am constantly struggling with dried out, cracked skin, and as the cold weather continues and the heat blows through the vents, it only makes it worse. After trying every over-the-counter lotion, I have decided that it is time to go a new route. I will definitely use your guide and hope to find some relief. If nothing else, it sure will be cheaper. Thanks!
Cold weather can be so harsh on your skin Zara. This is a great time to try some natural oils. Just a little bit goes a long way 🙂

I really have a acne problem due to a lot of times that my face was touch by my short hair. And now I have done a lot to erase the scars but only left me with disappointment.
I’m sorry to hear that Will. Have you tried LED light therapy for you acne or scarring? Blue light therapy is great for killing the bacteria that causes acne in the first place and red light therapy helps to diminish the scarring.
